I am home and had a great time!

After a worried phone call today that I might not be home for appointments, I reread the last post and realized that I had not included my return date.
The pups that are now ready to go to their new forever homes are cuter than ever.  Give us a call!

Christie takes a holiday . . .

As some of you who follow my blog know, my second great passion is quilting.  You can probably guess my first!  Anyway, I got the opportunity to travel to Paducah, KY to spend time at the AQS show and the National Quilt Musum.  My wonderful husband is at home holding down the fort.
I am checking email, morning and evening and checking voicemail several times a day.  Therefore, if you don't reach me leave a message and I will get back to you asap.  If there is a pup you would like to see this week, you can reach Bob at 630-542-2807.  I am scheduling appointments all weekend for the new pups.  So, if you are interested in one of the newer litters, you will have to touch base with me.

Hope everyone enjoys their Easter Weekend

We still have a few pups that are available for their new homes right now and we are available all day today and tomorrow to show a pup.

Yesterday, we had a 1 year old handsome schnauzer surrendered to us.  They originally purchased him as a pup from us and chose to make a very tough decision to have me find a new home for him.
They have small children and Howie loved and protected the kids, however, he was territorial and so protective that they worried he might go after a visiting kid.  They wrote a 6 page letter for the new owners on what he likes to do and how he reacts to different things.  He comes with leashes, tie downs, 2 beds, several jackets and a bunch of toys.  They thought he would do better in a home with older children.  He is neutered and up-to-date on all immunizations.  He seems to get along great with all other animals.  We have had him with several of our dogs all the way down to a 3.5# dog with no issues.  He has been introduced to our cat and shows no signs of aggression.  His roommates at the tie are two Chihuahuas and he is getting along great with them too.  He knows several commands and is house broken.   If you would like to come meet Howie, please give us a call.    $200 re-homing fee.

Howie found his new home!  We expect him to be very happy!
